Transformational Opportunity
Transformational Opportunity

The prudent and responsible development of energy resources has unmatched potential for driving economic activity, promoting new educational opportunities, creating direct and induced employment opportunities and elevating societies to a higher standard of living. This is how the Mozambique Gas Development Project views the opportunities associated with the world-scale natural gas discoveries located in the deepwater Rovuma Basin.

Flow Assurance
Flow Assurance

The results to date of the drillstem testing (DST) program in the Prosperidade and Golfinho/Atum complexes demonstrate the outstanding flow characteristics of the reservoirs. Each flow test successfully flowed at facility-constrained rates of 90 to 100 million cubic feet per day (MMcf/d), which supports well designs of 100 to 200 MMcf/d. The test program was an essential step in reserve certification.

Focused
Focused

The Mozambique Gas Development Project is advancing a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) park in the Afungi peninsula area of Cabo Delgado province. The area is large enough to accommodate expansions, including multiple additional trains capable of producing approximately 50 million tonnes of LNG per annum in future years.
